We've heard the stories. Family rushes a patient to a private ambulance, and before the door even opens, the driver demands ₹5,000 cash advance. While they argue at the curb, the patient's window of survival closes.

That's not how Bittu works.

Our policy, since 2008, has been simple: get the patient moving first, settle the bill after. No advance. No haggling. No delay.

How can we afford this?

Because in 17 years, we've found that families almost always pay — and pay fairly — when treated with respect. The handful who don't are vastly outweighed by the trust we've built across J&K.

What we do charge for

  • Distance (per kilometre, transparent rate)
  • Vehicle type (BLS, ALS, ICU all priced differently)
  • Waiting time over 30 min at hospital
  • Outstation fuel + driver night halt (quoted upfront)

You can ask for a complete quote on the call, or after the trip. We'll give the same number either way.
